Scott Muhleman Blues Harp Player Scott started playing harp at the age of 11 and by his mid-20s worked in a traveling band led by Oklahoma blues man DC Minner, winner of the Blues Foundation Keeping the Blues Alive Award. Scott settled in Bisbee and worked with local band Good Rockin’ Daddy, led by Tom Cicchelli, and for decades with regional bands and renowned blues veterans, Luther Jackson of The Falcons in the Loose Cannons Blues Band, Buzz Pearson, who went on to compete in the International Blues Challenge, Steve Grams, Melissa Reeves, Cat Daddy & the 12 Bar Blues Band, legendary keyboardist John Beach, and International Blues Challenge Competitor, Sean Trachtman and his band Train Wreck. Scott has sat-in with many regional players. As a traveling musician, from San Francisco to Manhattan, Scott recalls working with Poppa Chubby at Manny’s Car Wash and Cat Crosby throughout the southwest. Scott has also played the DC Minner Blues Dusk ‘Til Dawn Festival in Rentiesville, Oklahoma and the Bisbee Blues Festival. Currently Scott is working on his own project, Americana and Blues duo Mule Boys with Jon Messenger, as well as working with many blues musicians in the venue circuit in Cochise County.
