Janiva Magness

Janiva was very active in the Phoenix blues scene from 1983 until she moved to L.A. in the late 80’s. She played in bands with some of Phoenix’s finest blues musicians and performed in an acoustic duo that played shows with John Hammond, Rory Block, Taj Mahal and others. After moving to L.A. she’s gone on to become one of the biggest blues stars in the world.
